The Star Inn is a free-house 15 minutes from Bristol International Airport, near junction 20 of the M5, between Clevedon and Nailsea and a 20 minutes from Bristol. You can relax by the wood-burner with free newspapers and Wi-Fi; then choose from a wide-range of cask-conditioned beers and local ciders, with guest ales, as well as quality wines and spirits.
The Star is dog-friendly (bar area) so the perfect place to combine a laid-back lunch and country walk across nearby moorland of Special Scientific Interest where an 11th Century Church nestles or climb to the 3,000 year-old Cadbury Camp with its Iron Age Fort and stunning views loved by poets, painters, photographers and film-makers. It’s convenient venue for those who cycle, horse-ride and golf. There’s a wide choice of local courses including a driving range and nine-hole course virtually next door. The Star has a small, safe play area in its spacious beer garden with ample seating. There’s even space for marquee parties in the garden and with notice, the team are happy to lay on a bespoke menu for groups who want to get together and enjoy a wonderful meal.
Three en-suite bedrooms have recently been re-furbished with breakfast optional and air travellers can even leave vehicles in the large car park while they holiday.
